What we collect
When you use CharterWise, we collect the information you provide directly: your email address, display name, sailing experience level, and the content of reviews, pick-up reports, and issue reports you submit. We also collect photos you choose to attach to reports and reviews.
How we use it
Your data is used to operate the CharterWise service — to display boat condition information to other users, to associate reports with specific charter dates, and to authenticate you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data storage
Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (hosted on AWS). Pick-up reports are private until your charter end date passes, at which point they become visible to other CharterWise users. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
Cookies & analytics
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. No cookie consent banner is required.
